Anticipated Release of CUET UG 2023 Results by UGC Chief Points to Second Week of August
CUET UG 2023: Results Expected in Second Week of August, Candidates Can Challenge Answers from July 5 or 6
The University Grants Commission (UGC) Chairperson, Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar, recently announced that the results of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2023 are likely to be declared in the second week of August. Candidates who appeared for the exam can expect to find their results on the official website, cuet.samarth.ac.in.
Kumar took to Twitter to share this information, mentioning that the National Testing Agency (NTA) aims to finalize and announce the results by the second week of August. Initially, he had stated that the results would be declared by July 15, but the timeline has been extended.
Additionally, Kumar mentioned that the NTA plans to start the answer key challenge process from either July 5 or July 6. This means that candidates will have the opportunity to raise objections or point out discrepancies in the answer key during this period.
Earlier, the provisional answer key was released on June 29, and candidates were given time until July 1 to raise any challenges. However, after receiving multiple complaints from students regarding errors in the provisional answer key, the NTA decided to rectify the situation. They began posting corrected versions of the provisional answer keys every night. Candidates were allowed to inform the NTA about possible errors without any payment.
On July 3, the revised provisional answer key was made available on the official CUET UG 2023 website. In this version, the NTA dropped a total of 156 questions and replaced answer keys for Business Studies, Accountancy, and some shifts of the Hindi exam. The CUET UG 2023 was conducted between May 21 and June 23.
Overall, candidates can anticipate the release of CUET UG 2023 results in the second week of August, as per the UGC Chief’s latest update. They should also be prepared to raise any challenges to the answer key starting from either July 5 or July 6.
